By accessing or using Somna (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
Somna is a sleep intelligence web application that connects to your Oura Ring via the Oura API to analyze biometric data and identify potential causes of snoring. The Service includes morning reports, predictive risk scoring, AI-powered sleep coaching, and clinical pattern identification.

The terms “root cause,” “diagnosis,” and “clinical flag” used within the application refer to data-driven pattern identification, not medical diagnosis. If Somna identifies patterns consistent with sleep-disordered breathing, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
You acknowledge that you use Somna at your own risk and that Somna shall not be liable for any health decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Somna, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Somna is compatible with the Oura Ring but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura Health Oy. The Oura Ring and Oura+ subscription are products of Oura Health Oy, subject to their own terms of service.
You may revoke Somna's access to your Oura data at any time through your Oura account settings. Revoking access will prevent Somna from generating new reports but will not automatically delete previously collected data (see our Privacy Policy for data deletion requests).
Morning reports and AI Sleep Coach responses are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for health decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somna and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
